Practical Application

1. Review the results of water audits to determine the need for supplemental water, and identify potential end uses.
2. Review EPA’s Guidelines for Water Reuse and other resources. 
3. Identify minor WWT plant upgrades that could reduce or eliminate the amount of potable water required for irrigation.
4. Engage a local WWT expert to assist with analyzing the options for on-site WWT and reclamation.
5. Identify the most viable alternatives, and submit a funding request to provide assistance with financing, system design, and permitting.
