Practical Application

1. Review results of the home audit to determine where mold or moisture issues were observed.
2. Educate all people living in the residence about identifying mold unique to your region (see Residential: Staff Engagement).
3. Engage an expert to identify and fix moisture leaks in the building envelope and to remediate any mold that may be growing inside the walls or ceiling.
4. Undertake measures to prevent future moisture and mold issues.
